Looks like I don't have to catsit Max during the holidays, because my parents canceled their vacation. They had a car accident that resulted in a bit of dented metal (nothing serious, fortunately) and the car won't be repaired in time. :(

And that means we can do the whole Silvester thing at your place, dienita.

The institute of Geology I work in moved to a new building about 5 years ago. And when such a new building is build apparently there is a certain budget for art and culture. Things like minerals in showcases, a rock/boulder garden in the back yard etc. They are not just pretty, but have a connection to the earth sciences ( Read more... )
